Refund Policy

Last Updated: July 6, 2026
1. Purpose of This Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Morlune Quantara handles cancellations, refund requests, service credits, project pauses, and payment disputes related to our operational consulting and process improvement services. Because our services involve professional time, analysis, project preparation, business review, documentation work, and advisory effort, refunds are evaluated differently from refunds for physical goods.

By purchasing, approving, or paying for any service, you acknowledge that consulting work begins with research, review, planning, internal preparation, and administrative coordination, even before a final deliverable is sent. These activities have business value and may not be refundable once performed.

This policy applies unless a separate written service agreement, proposal, invoice, or statement of work contains a different refund or cancellation provision. If there is a conflict, the written agreement specific to the engagement will control.

2. Consulting Services Are Not Physical Products

Morlune Quantara provides advisory and operational consulting services. Our work may include organizational process assessments, internal procedure support, performance improvement planning, team coordination recommendations, workflow analysis, meetings, document review, written recommendations, and implementation planning.

These services are customized to the client and are not standard retail products that can be returned, restocked, or resold. For that reason, payments compensate us for reserved time, professional effort, preparation, analysis, administrative work, and customized deliverables.

Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the request, the amount of work already performed, the scope of services purchased, whether deliverables have been prepared or delivered, and whether the client has provided required information in a timely manner.

3. General Refund Position

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all payments for completed services, delivered work, partially performed consulting work, reserved project time, discovery work, analysis, project planning, and administrative setup are non-refundable.

Refunds may be considered only where no substantive work has begun, where a duplicate payment has been made by mistake, where the Company is unable to provide the purchased service, or where a refund is required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests where work has already begun, where the client has changed its mind after purchase, where the client failed to provide necessary information, where the client is dissatisfied with business results outside our control, or where the request relates to a completed or substantially completed engagement.

4. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you request cancellation before any work begins, before project onboarding, before document review, before meetings are scheduled, and before consulting time is reserved, we may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.

Administrative processing fees, payment processor fees, onboarding preparation, proposal development beyond ordinary sales communication, and other non-recoverable costs may be deducted from any approved refund.

A cancellation request must be submitted in writing and must include the client name, service purchased, invoice number if available, payment date, and reason for cancellation. We may request additional information to verify the request.

5. Cancellation After Work Begins

Once work has begun, refunds are generally not available for the portion of services already performed. Work begins when we start reviewing client materials, preparing analysis, creating documents, scheduling project resources, holding meetings, drafting deliverables, conducting internal planning, or otherwise allocating time to the engagement.

If an engagement is cancelled after work begins but before completion, we may calculate any potential partial refund based on the project stage, completed work, reserved time, administrative costs, non-cancellable commitments, and the value of work already performed.

In many cases, instead of a refund, we may offer a service credit, revised scope, project pause, or alternate deliverable if we determine that such an adjustment is commercially reasonable and consistent with the engagement.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following fees and service components are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing:

  • Completed consulting sessions, meetings, advisory calls, and operational review sessions.
  • Initial discovery, onboarding, business review, workflow analysis, and project planning time.
  • Prepared drafts, reports, procedure documents, recommendations, process maps, or other deliverables.
  • Rush fees, priority scheduling fees, administrative fees, payment processor fees, and third-party expenses.
  • Custom work prepared using client-specific information, internal business materials, or organization-specific requirements.
  • Subscription-style or retainer-style services for periods in which access, availability, or consulting capacity was provided.
  • Any service where the client received the agreed deliverable but later decided not to use, implement, or rely on it.
7. Revisions Instead of Refunds

Because consulting deliverables often require collaboration, feedback, and clarification, a revision may be a more appropriate remedy than a refund. If a deliverable does not reasonably match the agreed scope, we may provide corrections, clarifications, or reasonable revisions within the limits of the original engagement.

Revision requests must be specific and must identify the section, document, recommendation, or item that the client believes requires adjustment. General dissatisfaction without specific feedback may not be sufficient to support a refund or revision.

Revisions do not include a change in business direction, expanded scope, additional departments, new deliverables, new service categories, new analysis, or replacement of the original engagement with a different project.

8. Client Delays and Failure to Provide Information

Refunds will generally not be issued where a project is delayed, limited, or made impractical because the client does not provide required information, misses meetings, fails to respond to requests, delays approvals, changes internal priorities, or provides incomplete or inaccurate materials.

If the client becomes unresponsive for an extended period, we may pause the engagement and retain amounts paid for work already performed and time reserved. Resuming the engagement may require updated timelines, revised scope, or additional fees.

Client participation is especially important for operational consulting because recommendations depend on accurate descriptions of existing processes, team responsibilities, business objectives, communication patterns, and implementation constraints.

9. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or made a duplicate payment, please contact us promptly with supporting details. We will review the payment record, invoice history, and relevant account information.

Verified duplicate payments or clear billing errors may be refunded to the original payment method where commercially and technically feasible. If a refund to the original payment method is not available, we may arrange another reasonable correction method.

Refund timing may depend on payment processors, banks, card networks, and administrative verification. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Many concerns can be resolved through clarification, documentation, revision, service credit, or review of the engagement history.

If a chargeback is filed after services have been delivered or work has begun, we may provide the payment processor with documentation showing the engagement terms, communications, invoices, deliverables, project activity, and this Refund Policy.

Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel payment obligations for services performed. We reserve the right to suspend current services, decline future work, and pursue collection of unpaid amounts where appropriate.

11. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing using the contact information at the bottom of this page. To help us review your request efficiently, include your full name, company name, invoice number, payment date, service purchased, amount paid, reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.

We will review refund requests in good faith based on the engagement record, work performed, payment history, applicable agreement, and this Refund Policy. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.

If a refund is approved, we may issue the refund to the original payment method, provide a partial refund, provide a service credit, revise the scope, or offer another commercially reasonable resolution.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, payment practices, business operations, or applicable requirements. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

The Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase unless a written agreement states otherwise or unless a change is required by law.
